There is a special place in Nature, not so far from where I live where the Mountains block the electric waves and the noises of the city to help us hear the sound of the Wind blowing…To help us stop for a few moments looking at the screens so instead we start looking at the Trees, the Birds, the Grass and the Sky. No wonder why some rocks around here are filled with Crystals for those who are curious enough to dig… And if you look carefully, you can spot Mushroom rings in different areas that are believed to have been created by the Fairies. This place is as magical as it is simple…Those who have met me here know very well what I am talking about.
Pictures from the latest photoshoot in Nature during a very sunny day! I couldn’t miss this opportunity to take photos when the natural light is so perfect…it’s visible in the photos as well. I adore sunny days, especially during winter. But I have to admit that I am looking forward to Spring with all its colors and scents… and on this occasion I find the space to wish you all a Blessed Imbolc! The Nature is starting to wake up!
*For those who don’t know: First of February is the day that marked as “Imbolc” which is a cross-quarter day – a Fire Festival, sitting right between Winter Solstice on Dec 21st, and Spring Equinox on March 21st. The origins of this festival day run deep into the lands of our Celtic ancestors. The ancients knew exactly how to fan the flames of their connection with the Spirits. They knew where they resided: they had precise maps and diagrams that lived inside their stories, their myths, and their landscapes, telling them how to find their sacred ones. They had calendars and charts that told them when their Gods and Goddesses, their ancestors and animal guides would be available, ready for contact and communion. And they had rituals, rites, and sacred acts that they knew served as portals, bridges between our world and the Spirit lands, those liminal spaces where magic would always manifest.
January was a long, hard month and Imbolc marked the first signs of hope that light and warmth were returning, offering a chance to celebrate surviving one of the roughest patches of the year.
We tend to forget that we are still animals on a fragile planet. The tales remind us of our place in the natural order.
The divinity acknowledged in these early Spring rites is the goddess Brigid, the queen of heaven. She is the greatest of the Celtic divinities and is closely associated with the land. She is the protector of the wells and springs. She is the guardian of nature, and therefore agriculture. She is specifically associated with livestock. As a fertility goddess, Brigid is also the patron of the poets, artists, and others who create. The Irish goddess Brighid is the keeper of the sacred flame, the guardian of home and hearth. To honor her, purification and cleaning are a wonderful way to get ready for the coming of Spring. In addition to fire, she is a goddess connected to inspiration and creativity.
So, let us honor the Great Mother, the Queen of Heaven. May we be open to her many gifts of inspiration in this season of renewal.
I was wearing this hoodie shawl cardigan in cream and brown, handmade by the artisans of Sure Design Clothing. I love its pointed sides, the big hood, the embroidered pattern from the inside and of course the light cream color that seems to give light to every detail of the outfit. It’s pretty soft and warm at the same time. You can order it at the Pixie Collection on the website: www.suredesigntshirts.com where you can use my code CIRCLEOFKURISU for 10% Discount! World wide shipping straight from Thailand!
Another necklace handmade by me from the collection of necklaces with natural seashells and crystals. This time I combined this beautiful seashell with a star galaxy stone or “Galaxyite”. The size of the shell was perfect for this stone which was a little bigger from the other stones I used in this collection. Therefore also the chain is a little bigger and longer so it stays perfectly with the weight of the pendant.
Galaxyite is a recently discovered mineral that contains microsized Labradorite crystals embedded in a large feldspar matrix. It’s believed to be sent to earth by the angels so that it can heal the earth! Just like Labradorite, Galaxyite is also considered a transformation stone, and it will assist in your mystical and spiritual transformation. One of its characteristics is cleansing, protecting, and balancing the aura that’s why it is also called the “Aura Stone”. This stone will enhance both your conscious and subconscious mind and be very helpful in astral projection and astral travel. Galaxyite creates unity and harmony within the processes of the mind which will bring about calm, relaxation, and stress relief. When worn or carried, it reflects wisdom and optimism and attract like-minded people.
