Aquamarine

Dear Blog,
The sun is shining and I am so happy to be back to my most energetic self! Some weekends ago I was in Durrës, a coastal city very near Tirana. It is the best place to go during the weekends especially when it’s sunny! I am lucky to have some friends from this city and we usually get together by the sea and enjoy the relaxing view. Of course I took some pictures on that occasion…haha

Since we were going near the sea, I was inspired to put these two freshly made necklaces. They are handmade by me in aquamarine color which make me look forward to summer! Aquamarine comes from the Latin aqua marinus, meaning “water of the sea,” and refers to its sparkling ocean-like color. It seems to me like they evoke the purity of crystalline waters, and the exhilaration and relaxation of the sea.
What do you think of them? / Order by sending a DM on my IG: Circle of Kurisu

Since it was a weekend by the beach, I went for a casual outfit wearing this comfy and warm dress, leggings and vans all matching my necklaces! The item I love most by this look is this unique winged waist pocket in green. It has been love at first from the beginning! I am a fan of waist pockets and I wear them quiet a lot! I ordered this handmade one at Chaosmatic Clothing which is a brand created by a very talented girl and fashion designer. I am simply impressed by her work and I would recommend this brand to all of you who are fans of fantasy / handmade clothing. Order your elven items at: www.chaosmaticclothing.com / World wide shipping! ??‍♀️

While writing this article I’ve been listening to a heathen song that is so beautiful! A girl sent it on my DM today and now I am totally obsessed with it and I will sing it until I get tired!
Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiRnVmR6fJQ&ab_channel=TheLyricQueen

I am my mother’s savage daughter
The one who runs barefoot
Cursing sharp stones
I am my mother’s savage daughter
I will not cut my hair
I will not lower my voice

My mother’s child is a savage
She looks for her omens in the colors of stones
In the faces of cats, in the falling of feathers
In the dancing of fire
In the curve of old bones

My mother’s child dances in darkness
She sings heathen songs
By the light of the moon
And watches the stars and renames the planets
And dreams she can reach them
With a song and a broom

We are all brought forth out of darkness
Into this world, through blood and through pain
And deep in our bones, the old songs are waking
So sing them with voices if thunder and rain

We are our mother’s savage daughters
The ones who run barefoot
Cursing sharp stones
We are our mother’s savage daughters
We will not cut our hair
We will not lower our voice

Love,
Kurisu
